I know the cleaner head is about a month old, but the rubber on the wheel has already disintegrated! This vacuum has let me down but I wanted to stay positive. I do, but it's not very well built in my honest opinion. I have only had this vacuum for 3 months, second hand off eBay and it has had a new hose, new cyclone and a new cleaner head. I have not been misusing it and the vacuum had not been dropped in my ownership. It is a crack, not molding as when I push the vacuum slightly it's clearly a crack. Dyson better repair this thing for free cos it ain't my fault. Shame as it was really powerful but I am really cheesed off at the moment, fearing it will break even more in the future due to this crack. IDK if they will send me a box to send it to them to repair, but I took the serial number off the top of the chassis and put it behind the bin on the tube of the chassis so its more convenient and I had to glue the damned ball hose as the flimsy plastic snapped off to screw it in. Today I reclined my DC41 when I was done using it and it felt more flexible than ever, I thought wtf? Looked around the base and noticed a freaking bloody crack! I'm going to complain to Dyson as this vacuum has needed quite a lot of attention within the past 3 months,not very good as it's a £409 vacuum aswell! Glad I didn't buy it new. Today was just using it normally, we use a vacuum normally but do sometimes bash the common vacuums into furniture by accidentor when vacuuming in a rush.
